“I have never felt that I was capable of making art, therefore would not allow myself to try it until my husband was put into palliative care and my whole world turned upside down.
The joy and peace it brought surprised me. With freedom, complete acceptance, and encouragement, I could allow myself to be vulnerable and allow healing to enter. Something mysterious happened in my inner being. The other thing is that the art sessions removed the fear of going to the hospital. Sharing with other patients and family members continues to inspire and be a great blessing as together we pursue our journeys. I am so grateful for this opportunity with Bonnie.”
