What does compassion look like?

This lecture examines what occurred when 300 community members; patients, their families, health-care professionals, students, and multi-faith communities, held an open-hearted, compassionate intention in the creation of a collaborative, large-scale artwork for the Pasqua Hospital, the effects of which reverberated in personal and societal change and healing by transcending social, religious, racial, gender, sexual orientation, cognitive, and age boundaries. Art and story crack open the sterile space of fear in which patients live to the joys of the human spirit. Discover and explore the healing mosaics and hands for yourself. What stories do they bring forth for you?
